Dual CS 800 Turntable

We proudly present the latest development from St. Georgen in the Black Forest - the CS 800! A completely redesigned turntable that lays the foundation for a new series from Dual. The basic principle consists of a heavy base chassis in combination with a sub-chassis covered with aluminium, which is mounted floating on parabolic springs and thus minimises any form of external interference. Three specially buffered aluminium feet in combination with the gimballed tonearm ensure a problem-free and uncomplicated set-up. The tonearm is raised to a new level by the use of the new Dual E(aysymotion) internal wiring and the improved tonearm bearing. The electronically controlled DC motor is operated by a touch switch with LED display. Tonearm technology: Gimbal-mounted tonearm with massless adjustment of contact force by high-precision torsion spring. Torsionally stiff tone head made of carbon-fibre composite with 1/2" system mounting, adjustable anti-skating. Chassis technology: Solid MDF base chassis in combination with a decoupled sub-chassis (floating on parabolic springs). Damped aluminium platter with antistatic treated felt cover. Turntable technology: Manual turntable. Belt drive with ground flat belt. DC motor with electronic speed control.
