MoFi StudioTracker

With the MoFi StudioTracker, the American analogue specialists have created a pickup that shines with its incredible price-performance ratio. It is therefore obvious that this musical pickup is based on the proven Moving Magnet (MM) principle. In this construction, a tiny magnet is moved inside, at the end of the needle carrier, between the pole pieces of the fixed coil for both stereo channels. Thanks to the generously dimensioned unit, a respectable 4.5mV voltage is available at the output of the StudioTracker. Any conceivable MM phono input can therefore show what this cartridge can do. The musical sound of the StudioTracker is already characterised by its elliptical diamond during sampling. This cartridge reproduces music in a strikingly dynamic and homogeneous way. The fact that at the same time the musical events always remain accentuated and audible is what makes the StudioTracker so incredibly interesting in its price class. Especially when used with high-quality turntables, such as a MoFi StudioDeck, the StudioTracker displays a sense of rhythm that is familiar from its larger brothers.
