Dual Primus Maximus Manual Turntable

The Primus Maximus forms the reference class as a special model in a strictly limited edition of 100 pieces. As a technology carrier, it takes up the high points of Dual history and develops them further in the 21st century. Classic features are retained: Massless tracking force, cardanic tonearm bearing, direct drive. The result - a turntable that inspires musically.

Frame: 10mm aluminium platform as foundation and MDF wooden console with individual wood veneer. Drive, platter and tonearm are mounted on the aluminium platform and decoupled from the rest of the chassis.

Turntable: 2.7 kg aluminium platter milled from a single block. Surface bead-blasted and anodised.

Tonearm: Fully cardanic tonearm with massless adjustment of bearing force, solid aluminium bearing unit, precision pivot ball bearing.

Drive: High-quality direct drive with precise speed control.
