The new model series from Dual starts with the CS 418, which already features high-quality components from the larger models. The Ortofon 2M Red cartridge and a switchable MM phono preamplifier are integrated into the complete package. The CS 418 impresses with a balanced sound experience at a high level. Frame: Solid MDF construction with black foil coating, feet with integrated resonance absorbers. Turntable: Die-cast aluminium turntable with heavy rubber mat for resonance damping. Solid platter bearing with hardened steel axle, precision brass bearing bush. Tonearm: Weight-balanced tonearm with damped tonearm lift. Adjustable tracking force and anti-skating. Drive: Quiet DC servo motor, vibration-damped suspension. Belt drive with precision-ground flat belt for optimum synchronisation.
