Compact, luxurious turntable combination with impressive playback quality

The Xperience SB is based on the Xperience belt drive concept, which includes our over 25 years of experience in the construction of turntables. The addition of a precise motor control with electronic speed change and a 9 ″ S-shape aluminum tonearm means a significantly improved sound quality. The heavy turntable chassis is made of resonance-free MDF. The platter is a precisely balanced sandwich construction made of heavy and non-resonating materials. A vinyl layer is the perfect record mat. The light, diamond-ground and screwable record clamp prevents unwanted vibrations from the record and rumbling of the turntable bearing. The sound reproduction benefits from the resonance-free turntable, as the effects of otherwise common metal and glass plates are avoided. An acrylic dust cover is included. Three real wood veneers (eucalyptus, walnut, rosewood) and three high-gloss (olive, mahagani, black) surfaces to choose from.

The high-quality tonearm in a curved S-shape made of aluminum has a very harmonious and musical sound, which guarantees increased musical enjoyment. The removable headshell makes it possible to switch quickly and easily between several pickup systems. Use an MM system for everyday use and switch to an MC cartridge for pure music enjoyment.

Mounted on different headshells , changing the pickup is a matter of seconds. 

As an alternative to the enclosed headshell,  SPU sound boxes  or  Concorde  hi-fi pickups from Ortofon can also be installed. The heavier counterweights required for this are available as accessories.

Drive

Tonearm Pro-Ject 9 S-Shape

• S-shaped 9-inch tonearm with headshell attachment according to SME standard
• Counterweight for cartridges from 3 to 9g weight (when using the enclosed headshell with 7.5g weight) included. Other counterweights available as optional accessories
• The tonearm tube can be turned after loosening a screw. This enables a horizontal (azimuth) adjustment of the pickup
• The tonearm base offers an adjustment option for the vertical scanning angle (VTA)
• Inverted tonearm bearing with ball bearings in ABEC 7 quality
• An RCA / Cinch socket terminal makes it possible to connect individual phono cables
