The Debut aluminium sub-platter takes all Debut turntables to an even higher level of sound. The high-mass, diamond-ground aluminium sub-platter is machined to significantly improved and lower tolerances and represents a significant upgrade over conventional sub-platters. It adds mass to the entire platter and drive system, resulting in additional damping of noise and unwanted resonance. The improved production tolerances increase speed accuracy, and the extra mass improves short-term speed stability, also called wow & flutter.
