The Pro-Ject E1 Phono offers a wide range of connection options and genuine hi-fi quality at an entry-level price. That's because its built-in phono preamplifier delivers high-level signals for any standard analogue line input, and can be deactivated if a phono input is present. High-quality materials, a minimalist design and the ready-to-play Ortofon OM 5E cartridge make it the ideal plug & play package for all beginners who want to remain flexible. The CNC-milled chassis is made entirely in Europe from solid wood without cavities. Unwanted vibrations and resonances don't stand a chance! The newly developed turntable made of polymer is driven by a DC motor via a belt and a sub-platter. The speed is switched electronically.

The tonearm with integrated headshell is a new development for all models of the new E-series. The 8.6" long aluminium tube is precisely guided by low-friction gimbal bearings. The mounted and adjusted Ortofon OM 5E cartridge with elliptical needle grind makes this turntable an uncompromising HiFi player for beginners.

Specially optimised, low-capacity phono cables with shielding are included. A dust cover and a felt mat that protects your records as a soft support surface complete the package.

Adjustment of the counterweight and precise alignment of the cartridge are guaranteed from the factory. No adjustments have to be made or any parts assembled. After removing the transport lock, putting on the belt and taking off the needle guard, the turntable is immediately ready to play.

The E1 Phono makes audiophile vinyl enjoyment as simple and high quality as it previously seemed unthinkable in this price range. The E1 Phono is offered in three colours. Ortofon OM 5E

An entry-level system for light to medium tonearms. By removing the inserted weight, ideally suited for the very light ULM tonearms. The cartridge can be upgraded by replacing the needle with a higher quality one from the OM series.
