The heavy belt-driven turntable ensures precise reproduction of the records (33 1/3, 45, 78 rpm) true to the original recording. The integrated phono preamplifier creates an open, enveloping sound stage and reproduces your favourite albums in every detail. An MM cartridge is included. The exclusive removable cover also serves as a presentation stand for the record cover. 

SPECIALLY DESIGNED S-SHAPED TONEARM

This turntable features a carefully designed S-shaped tone arm that minimises the tracking error angle at any point on the record. When the end of the record is reached, the turntable is stopped. In addition, the tonearm lifts off automatically to protect both the record and the cartridge. The S-shaped tonearm also reduces harmonic distortion, ensuring that the audio signal is always pure.

Phono preamplifier

The integrated phono preamplifier creates an open, spatial sound stage that brings your vinyl collection to life while remaining true to the original recording. You can also connect the turntable directly to an AV receiver, system component or integrated amplifier, even if these devices do not have their own phono input.

Pickup options

An MM cartridge for precise and detailed music reproduction is included. Denon is the manufacturer of the longest selling cartridge on the market. So you can place your trust in the music reproduction of the Denon DP-400. So if you prefer to use this or another MC cartridge, simply replace the MM cartridge supplied. Enjoy Denon sound quality however you want to listen to your records.
