Pure CD players are usually vastly superior to DVD or Blu-ray multidisc players when it comes to stereo CD playback. The CD Box DS (like the CD Box S) is built exclusively for the playback of audio CDs according to the Philips "Red Book Standard" and is a true master of its discipline. In addition to a high-quality and robust drive with multiple decouplings, a servo control system optimised for audio playback is indispensable for perfect CD playback. Our servo system enables real-time sampling with minimal jitter. Together with the excellent D/A converter components from Burr Brown, a faithful reproduction of the original is achieved, which cannot be found elsewhere in this price class. Visually, the CD Box DS has been adapted to the new DS Line. Some of the changes are the thicker front panel without visible screws and the smaller and uniform LED.
